Sun Well Service has 14 well servicing and workover rigs that are fully equipped to handle well completions, facilitate rod and tubing work, rejuvenate wells through workovers and provide plug and abandonment services.
Sun Well Service has 8 Bowen Power Swivels, five 2.5 and three 3.5, to support any completion or workover project.
There are 12 mud pumps in the Sun Well Service equipment inventory in various sizes and designs to accommodate the pump demand in our service area. They accommodate normal completion and workovers plus special needs in the plugging and abandonment of oil or gas wells.
Sun Well Service maintains 6 5000lb BOP’s in its own equipment inventory and has access to rental units from other third party providers if additional support is required.
Sun Well Service has casing tongs for plugging and abandonment or special needs projects.
In addition to normal operations, Sun Well Service provides special services as required in unique circumstances. Past projects include the plugging and abandonment of a well for the Federal government in the middle of Lake Sakakawea in North Dakota. Visit the project for more details.
